As a Religion student, you will:
- Receive personal attention from dedicated faculty determined to help you succeed
- Write a thesis in your chosen area of concentration with direction and guidance from your professors
- Participate in thoughtful classroom explorations to deepen your understanding of Christianity and world religions
- Undertake internships and service learning projects that integrate your studies, serving others in such places as churches, nursing homes, social agencies and nonprofit organizations
A religion major or minor is also a perfect complement to any of Ashland’s other fields of study, helping you become aware of how religious commitments and values shape our world.

Programs
Dean's Scholarship
The Dean's Scholarship was created to enhance the undergraduate academic experience for new first-time and transfer students enrolled in a major within the College of Arts & Sciences. It is a merit-based, renewable scholarship of $1,500 that can be "stacked" on top of other awarded AU academic scholarships. In addition, students have the opportunity to participate in unique academic communities with a focus on career coaching and preparation.
